New Alarm.com Office in South Carolina Marks 20th Location
The Greenville, S.C. office is first new location in 2022 for Alarm.com as well as the first office in the state.
TYSONS, Va. — Alarm.com (Nasdaq: ALRM) announces the opening of its new Greenville, S.C. office, located on South Main Street, overlooking Falls Park, Liberty Bridge, and Reedy River Falls.
Greenville marks the 20th office location, and currently has about 10 employees, with jobs actively posted for entry-level software engineers, quality engineers, as well as a technical account manager in sales.
This is the first new office location in 2022 for Alarm.com as well as the first office in South Carolina. Alarm.com has a collaboration with Furman University’s Shi Institute for Sustainable Communities (in Greenville) where Alarm.com technology is used in the Shi Center and the eco cottages student residences to help reduce and track energy consumption.
Earlier this year, Alarm.com was named to Fortune Magazine’s list of the top 100 Fastest Growing Companies. Alarm.com is headquartered in Tysons, Va. and has more than 1,500 full-time employees with offices across the globe from Needham, Mass. to Amsterdam, Netherlands.
When it comes to being an active member of the community it works in, Alarm.com touts it has a Charitable Giving Program that aims to positively impact the needs of under-served communities, children’s health and education, STEM initiatives, first responders, as well as disaster response. Thanks to a charitable match program for employees, more than 150 501(c)(3) organizations were supported in 2021.
