While some of the hacks may have found less success on the fairway, the 7th Annual Greater Alarm Golf Classic proved to be a boost of help to abused and neglected children in Southern California. Irvine, Calif.-based alarm contractor Greater Alarm raised $30,000 for Child SHARE, a church-based foster care network for children in need at its annual tournament held Oct. 22 at the Talega Golf Course in San Clemente, Calif.

“This annual fundraiser is not only friendly and fun to host, it’s a privilege to be able to contribute to this great cause,” says Greater Alarm President George DeMarco. Greater Alarm won one of the grand prizes at the 2004 SAMMY’s – Residential Installation of the Year.

Among the sponsors of the Golf Classic were HID Corp., Honeywell, Bosch Security Systems and Edwards Systems Technology.
