Alarm Company Receives Five Diamond Certification

SEATTLE

Washington Alarm, a full-service alarm company in the Pacific Northwest, announces it has received Central Station Alarm Association’s (CSAA) Five Diamond Certification.

The prestigious Five Diamond Certification affirms that Washington Alarm’s dispatchers have passed the CSAA Central Station Operator Training Course Level 1. The course covers all aspects of central station communications with law enforcement, fire and emergency services, and customers. The course also includes instruction in electronic communications equipment and the codes and standards of UL, Factory Mutual (FM) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).

“The certification adds a greater level of knowledge to our employees, adds another layer of recognition to our central station, and gives us a greater edge in the service of our customers and in the marketplace,” says Washington Alarm Central Station Manager Roger Guppy.

Fewer than 100 of the approximately 2,700 central stations in the United States have been awarded CSAA’s Five Diamond Certification.
