Alarm Detection Systems Completes Its 55th Acquisition
Aurora, Ill.
Alarm Detection Systems (ADS) has completed the acquisition of the security assets of MBN Security Systems of Morris, Ill., and will provide monitoring, repair and alarm inspections for the majority of MBN’s customers.
The transaction marks the 55th alarm company acquired by Aurora, Ill.-based ADS, which is the largest independent security company headquartered in Illinois. The MBN purchase increases the number of ADS accounts to more than 27,000.
When it came time for him to exit the security business, MBN President Mark Blackwell says he always knew ADS would be his top choice.
“ADS has a reputation of integrity both in its dealings with sellers and as a company that consistently provides great service to its customers,” Blackwell says.
