Alarm Funding Associates of Exton, Pa., has reinforced the viability of its efforts in the Florida market after acquiring the accounts of The Hamilton Companies. The companies include The Hamilton Companies of Winter Haven, Sentry Security of Sanibel, and A.R. Alarms of Ft. Myers/Naples. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The UL-Listed central station operated by The Hamilton Companies will continue its operations. Plans have been finalized to expand the management team of the company. Hamilton has been in business since 1968.
Principals Andy Richards and Dick Aldrich plan on retiring to pursue other business activities outside of the alarm industry.
“Both Andy and I have reached the stage where we would like to stay closer to home and reduce the amount of traveling,” says Aldrich. “Alarm Funding Associates made us a great offer.”
