QUINCY, Illinois — Alarm Systems has acquired security solutions provider Associated Technical Services (ATS) and its affiliated music systems company. Alarm Systems is based in Quincy, Illinois, while ATS and Southern Musicast (the music systems company) are located in Milwaukee.
ATS is a provider of custom security systems in access control and video surveillance. It was founded by David and Charles Janzer back in 1984. Southern Musicast provides sound services for public spaces.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The companies will keep their names in the transaction but will be rebranded by Alarm Systems.
Alarm Systems is a national Honeywell authorized security dealer in the residential and commercial space. Prior to these transactions, Alarm Systems dealt exclusively with Honeywell products.
