AlarmForce Closes Tough Year With 12% Subscriber Boost

Published: December 9, 2009

AlarmForce Industries Inc. has announced an impressive 12-percent increase in its subscriber accounts during a rough economic downturn. The company, which specializes in the installation and monitoring of residential systems that include two-way voice communications, boasts an increased subscriber base of slightly more than 102,000 accounts.

“The subscriber base at the close of 2009 represents a record in our entire 21 years of business, having increased by over 12 percent from 2008,” says AlarmForce President and CEO Joel Matlin. “We are very excited to have achieved a double-digit growth rate during a period that has been tough for virtually all companies and industries.”

According to Matlin, the company creates each subscriber account organically through advertising programs. Additionally, AlarmForce’s wireless interactive voice alarm systems and personal emergency response systems (PERS) are designed, manufactured and monitored by the company, which creates value differentiation for subscriber services, says Matlin.

“Our success is a testament to the value that our brand has delivered to consumers in the geographical area that we service, which extends to all major centers in Canada and across four states in the U.S.,” he says.
