WARWICK, R.I. – Home automation and security company Alliance Security is relocating its operations to a larger facility in Cranston, R.I., to help accommodate the firm’s growth.
The firm will relocate from its current facility in Warwick, R.I., to a 60,000-square-foot building, Warwick Online reports.
Alliance Security CEO Jay Gotra started the company out of a spare room in his apartment in 2003. Now, the company has a customer base that spans across 35 states. The company, which made the INC 5000 list of fastest growing companies, expects its workforce to double from 300 to 600 employees.
In addition to its increasing workforce, Alliance Security’s revenue has jumped from $2.5 million in 2010 to $52 million in 2014. The firm projects revenue to exceed $100 million in 2015.
Alliance Security is also well-known throughout Rhode Island for its contribution to the community. In 2013, the company sparked a long-term partnership with the Rhode Island Coalition Against Domestic Violence (RICADV), in which Alliance Security offered financial and operational support to the nonprofit, as well as alarm systems and monitoring at no cost to victims of domestic violence as part of the Friends of RICADV program.
