Allwest Systems Intl. Inc., a holding company for the Allwest group of companies that provide integrated life safety and security systems, has been awarded a $275,000 contract by Liberty Media to install an integrated security and fire alarm system for the company’s headquarters in Douglas County, Colo. Liberty Media produces, acquires and distributes entertainment and informational programming services and electronic retailing services.
Its new headquarters features security and fire alarm systems from some of Allwest Systems’ business partners, including Lenel Systems Intl., Pelco and Edwards Systems Technology (EST). Some of the security company’s systems include fire alarm, special hazard, access control and digital identification for commercial and public facilities. “The Liberty Media project illustrates our tremendous capability to integrate divergent products into a cohesive, easy-to-use system for our clients,” contends Steve Pickett, CEO of Allwest Systems. “Customers are demanding this kind of high-level integration, and Allwest Systems is one of a select group of companies that are truly capable of delivering the technology.”
The contract brings the company’s current backlog to more than $10.3 million.
