ALPHA SYSTEMS LAB FORMS STRATEGIC ALLIANCE WITH TEAC TO MARKET CCTV-BASED PRODUCTS IN JAPAN

Alpha Systems Lab Inc. (ASL), a provider of PC-based remote surveillance and digital video management systems, has signed a strategic alliance with TEAC Corp.‘s Information Products Division. The agreement calls for the Japanese computer peripheral and information products company to distribute ASL’s RemoteWatch and DigiCorder product lines to the Japanese market. TEAC, headquartered in Tokyo, will market ASL’s security systems to major sectors, including railroads, power plants and entertainment establishments, as well as other corporate, financial and bank applications and commercial markets requiring new generation digital video technology and remote surveillance. “The TEAC alliance is an international endorsement of our technology and a major component in ASL’s global expansion plan,” says Rose Hwang, co-founder and president of ASL.
