Altronix Adopts New Marketing Strategy

BROOKLYN, N.Y.

Altronix Corp., a manufacturer of code-compliant, low-
voltage power supplies, recently announced a new marketing
strategy for several new product series. The new marketing
plan will attempt to brand each of three new product lines:
the HubWay video/data/power product series, the Maxim
access/power/controller series and the StrikeIt panic
device power/controller series.

The result will be a stronger identity for each one, says
Alan Forman, president of Altronix.

The HubWay product line is designed to provide centralized
UTP video, RS422/S485 data and distributed camera power
over a single Cat-5, -5e, and -6 cable. This will simplify
the installation of CCTV systems up to 1,000 feet from the
hub.

The Maxim product features wall or rack mount
installation and is designed to interface with access
control panels, a variety of accessories and electric
locking devices.

The StrikeIt line is specifically geared to handle high power surges from the in-rush current often encountered when driving one or two 24VDC panic devices. The system features a fire alarm control panel disconnect with two outputs for powering access control accessories: one 12VDC and the other 24VDC.
