TORRANCE, Calif.—AMAG Technology’s full line of Symmetry M2150 Intelligent Controllers has received the UL 294 certification. The listing shows full compliance with standards and requirements set by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL).
The Symmetry M2150 range of controllers provides distributed intelligence and ensures complete system security, resilience and reliability, according to the company. When integrated with Symmetry security management software, the controller range delivers a seamless security management system to protect all types of buildings.
The controllers can be combined in more than 50 configurations to provide access control for up to 16 doors in one panel. Expansion of inputs and outputs for monitoring and control of additional devices are achievable utilizing optional add-on cards.
The product, which can manage 250,000 cardholders, is IP-based and hardwired for flexibility during installation. Rack mount versions are also available for an IT-centric installation.
