AMAG Hosts Successful Security Engineering Symposium
TORRANCE, Calif.
AMAG Technology hosted more than 70 security engineers at its recent Security Engineering Symposium in Scottsdale, Ariz., which featured a preview at some of the company’s next generation technology.
Held March 1-4, the event included a keynote address by Wells Fargo Vice President of Security Management Ted Barron and Nick Miller, a senior project manager with security consulting firm SafirRosetti. Titled “600 Buildings in 10 Months!” the presentation recounted the security needs of Wells Fargo and how AMAG’s Symmetry security management system provided the features and solutions needed to meet the bank’s growing security demands.
AMAG demonstrated its Symmetry system with Symmetry Video and the Symmetry EN-1DBC Edge Network Controller, and gave engineers a preview at some of the next generation features of Symmetry Video as well as the new Symmetry M2150 family of intelligent controllers.
Ten of AMAG’s best-in-breed partners also presented and demonstrated their respective technologies, including: Axis Communications, L1 Bioscrypt, HID Global, Intransa, IR, NEC, Stentofon/Zenitel, DAP, Codebench and Winsted.
“Our partners provided top-quality presentations that the engineers found informative and educational,” says AMAG Director of New Business Development Jody Ross. “Every year AMAG and our valued engineers gain indispensable insight as we network and share ideas.”
