AMAG Technology Supports U.S. Government Guidelines

TORRANCE, Calif.

Physical Access Interagency Interoperability Working Group (PAIIWG), created by the Government Smart Card Interagency Advisory Board (GSC-IAB), has released version 2.2 of its technical implementation guidance for the deployment of smart card-enabled physical access control systems within all federal facilities.

AMAG Technology has been involved in U.S. government smart card programs dating back to 1995. AMAG’s S731 smart card reader is one of the few physical access control card readers that supports contact and contactless specifications.

Robert Sawyer, president and CEO of AMAG Technology Inc., says, “AMAG is grateful to be able to play a leading role in enabling the U.S. government to enhance the capabilities and efficiencies of its physical security programs.”
