Amcest, an alarm monitoring company, will begin providing Cernium Corp.‘s CheckVideo intelligent video verification software to its dealer network, the company has announced.
The CheckVideo software will augment Amcest’s monitoring services to include intelligent video filtering and video alarm verification.
CheckVideo performs real-time analysis of monitored video and presents visual information to security monitoring personnel. It integrates with central station automation software and incorporates advanced video analytics and Web-based video management functionality.
“CheckVideo provides the alarm industry with the first intelligent video-based RMR program that is both affordable and easy to install,” said Fred Rosenfeld, president of Amcest. “We evaluated various video verification products over the past year and found CheckVideo to be the most reliable and cost-effective solution for both dealers and the central station.”
With CheckVideo, central station operators are alerted to specific events, such as the presence of people or vehicles at specific times and locations, helping them to differentiate between false alarms and events of interest. The software also integrates with alarm panels to enable sensor-based verification.
