IP SpeedDome Ultra 8 from American Dynamics of Boca Raton, Fla., is an IP edge device that creates an integrated environment that allows users to access and control video remotely over a network. The product is compatible with either Intellex IP or VideoEdge NVR systems and includes an integrated encoder that utilizes American Dynamics’ ACC technology.
ACC technology compresses data up to nine times more efficiently than comparable MPEG-4 and MJPEG compression technologies, according to the company.
