LONG ISLAND, N.Y. — Full service electronic security firm American Security Systems has appointed David Cohen as its new president and COO.
Cohen will lead the firm’s efforts to improve operations and efficiencies as it grows its Fire Safety & Video Doormansecurity business sectors.
Cohen has a long career in the light manufacturing and business services arenas. Most recently, he concluded an advisory project for a Providence Equity Partner owned group of companies (Altegrity/HireRight), principally in the areas of global operations improvement, technology deployment and business integration.
Prior to joining the American Security Systems, Cohen held leadership positions with PVI Solar, Dempsey Myers & Col, and Sterling Infosystems, as well as consulting for Touche Ross.
