CCTV manufacturer and distributor American Sentry Guard will be sponsoring a car in this year’s Indianapolis 500 race. American Sentry Guard will provide backing to Buddy Lazier’s No. 95 car. Lazier won the annual Memorial Day weekend Indy Racing League (IRL) race in 1996.
The security firm signed this month as a promotional partner with Byrd Brothers/Panther Racing, which has Lazier as its driver. The 89th Indy 500 takes place on May 29.
“The IRL, as a locally based racing league, is an appropriate platform for us as a local company with a national impact to surface onto the national radar as a major digital security solutions provider,” says American Sentry Guard President and COO Jeff Brummett. “Few events in all of sports give you this much exposure.”
