John Walsh, host of the Fox television crime-fighting series, “America’s Most Wanted: America Fights Back,” will speak on how the program and the security alarm industry can partner up to reduce crime at the 20th annual Security Associates Int’l (SAI) conference in Las Vegas.
Walsh’s presentation will take place March 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. It will follow a 7:30 a.m. breakfast to be held at the Monte Carlo Hotel (Ballrooms 4 and 5).
A tireless advocate for victim’s rights and missing children, Walsh has turned his passion for justice into the nation’s number-one crime-fighting show. In 1981, Walsh’s son Adam was abducted and murdered; however, the prime suspect in the case was never charged and died in prison while serving a life sentence for other crimes.
Currently, Walsh testifies before Congress and state legislatures on crime, missing children and victims’ issues. His latest efforts include lobbying for a constitutional amendment for victims’ rights. He is also author of, “Tears of Rage: From Grieving Father to Crusader for Justice—The Untold Story of the Adam Walsh Case (released September 1997).
