BREA, Calif. —  Antaira Technologies, a developer and manufacturer of industrial networking devices and communication solutions for harsh environment applications, announces the expansion of its industrial networking infrastructure family with the introduction of the LNP-0800G-M12-67-24 Ethernet switch.

Antaira’s LNP-0800G-M12-67-24 Layer 2 unmanaged series switch is said to offer dependability and ease-of-use functionality in harsh industrial environments.

The IP67-rated Ethernet switch was designed specifically for industrial applications that are subject to high vibration and shock, and is backed by a 5-year warranty.

The switch offers 24 to 55VDC redundant power inputs through 4-pin M12 T- coded male connector. A total power of 180W is available for supplying up to eight IEEE 802.3af (PoE) and 802.3at (PoE+) devices.

Built-in fault tolerance ensures against PoE system or PD overloads thanks to the PSE management system. In the cases of complete power failure, the LNP-0800G-M12-67-24 uses bypass technology to keep data communication flowing even if the switch is offline.

The 8-port 10/100/1000 Mbps LAN M12 ports offer 148,800pps for fast packet switching with store and forward technology. The 8-pin M12 CAT6A sockets with X-coding female connectors feature auto negotiation speeds, full/half duplex mode and auto MDI/MDI-X connections.
