Arcules Hires Trio to Expand Global Sales Leadership Team

Arcules says the new hires reflects the company’s dedication to customers and channel partners in North America, EMEA and Asia.

IRVINE, Calif. — Arcules, a provider of unified, intelligent security-as-a-service solutions, announces the appointment of Jeremy Scott as North American Sales Director, as well as its latest hires in EMEA and Asia, Ian Compton as Regional Sales Director, EMEA, and Erik Friis Mondorf, Sales Director, APAC.

In his role, Scott will lead the sales teams for the North American region and develop strategic initiatives that support the growth of unified Cloud security services in key markets, according to the company.

With more than 20 years of security, sales, and management experience, Scott has executed successful sales strategies and business development initiatives for solutions and services across the video surveillance, Internet of Things (IoT) and Cloud markets.

“As an experienced and successful sales executive with a deep understanding of end-user needs, Jeremy brings a unique balance of domain expertise and proven revenue generation capabilities to Arcules,” says Nigel Waterton, chief revenue officer, Arcules. “His track record of building high-performing sales strategies coupled with his extensive experience will be advantageous to Arcules as we continue prioritizing growth and simplifying the delivery of cloud video.”

He joins Arcules from Hypersive, leading the security segment and driving sales and GTM channel management. He contributed eight years to Milestone Systems, responsible for driving profitable growth in national sales and strategic alliances, according to the company.

“I am thrilled to be a part of the Arcules team,” Scott says. “The company has developed a unique culture that is hyper-focused on the customer journey and has built a team of professionals who deliver a comprehensive experience to partners and end users every day. I look forward to building upon the strong foundation our brand has in the marketplace and introducing Arcules to more prospects as we move into the future as a global organization.”

Arcules says Compton has spent the majority of his career guiding major technology vendors through expansion into high-growth areas by developing robust market entry and channel delivery strategies.

An award-winning sales strategist with more than 25 years of account and client management experience, Compton is said to have played pivotal roles in helping emerging brands expand operations in Europe by navigating market shifts and interpreting key sales and competitive insights. He has held senior-level sales roles with ASSA ABLOY, HID, Hikvision, and Oncam, working closely with resellers and end users.

“Organizations in the EMEA market are adopting Cloud security at a rapid rate, and I’m convinced that Arcules’ product flexibility, streamlined usability, and customer-centric approach is exactly what customers today need,” says Compton. “Arcules has already experienced impressive sales growth in the region, and I look forward to scaling this for continued momentum and expansion.”

As director of sales, APAC, Mondorf leads sales and distribution of the company’s products across the region. He most recently served as president and representative director at Milestone Systems K.K., where he spearheaded Milestone’s business in Japan from greenfield to the leading video management business in the region, according to the company.

Earlier in his career, he served as minister counsellor with the Trade Council of Denmark, Royal Danish Embassy, Tokyo, to guide technology best practices and deployment. He also served in senior sales roles at Accenture, The East Asiatic Company, and IBM.

“Cloud is the future of security, and Arcules is consistently winning with its underlying architecture and superior performance, efficiency, and scale,” says Mondorf. “Many regional businesses are discovering this competitive edge, and I expect to see continued adoption of Cloud security in the region as we bring Arcules’ dynamic portfolio of solutions into the market.”

With the increasing demand for Cloud systems, Arcules says it experienced significant growth in 2021 as businesses turned to its Cloud security infrastructure to support security, operational, and IoT use cases. It closed out the year with deals from some of the world’s most well-known global brands and Fortune 1000 companies and increased penetration in global regions.

“Arcules is seeing tremendous growth and additional opportunity in hypergrowth markets, and this expansion of our sales leadership team reflects our dedication to customers and channel partners in these regions,” adds Waterton. “Ian and Erik bring impressive industry experience, a track record of success, and are already making a significant impact in their new roles. We’re happy to have them on board.”
