The ADA-compliant Area of Rescue Command Unit by Talk-A-Phone of Chicago provides two-way communication with audible and visual signaling for use during the evacuation of a building. The command center will accommodate up to eight ADA-compliant units and can be recessed mounted near the fire command station.
The product provides centralized control of a wide variety of building communications, allowing emergency personnel to interact with those in need of rescue assistance. The manufacturer says that the unit can also be utilized for elevator communication and in parking lots.
