Published: September 4, 2014

In the March 2013 issue, Security Sales & Integration featured an article about the hybrid surveillance system at the posh Aria Casino & Resort in Las Vegas that blends IP HD and 360° technology with analog.

Helping safeguard patrons and employees of the 61-story resort are video surveillance capabilities considered to be among the most advanced in the worldwide gaming market. Integrator North American Video (NAV) completed the installation in late 2009.

The project called for blending 720p and 1,080p high definition cameras with analog models to achieve a best in class hybrid design.

Addtionally, 360° degree cameras are strategically placed throughout the casino to provide near total coverage of the facility.
