ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Armed Response Team (ART), a security provider based here, has joined Honeywell’s First Alert Professional Dealer Program.
Founded by a group of police officers, ART specializes in residential and commercial intrusion, perimeter, fire alarm, access control and video surveillance systems. The company provides in-person response to intrusion alarms using a team of former police officers who maintain state certification.
“Our business’ philosophy is to provide the best service to our customers, especially in an area where we’ve seen growth in alarm system use, demand for police resources, and high false alarm rates,” says David Meurer, president of ART. “Becoming a First Alert Professional Dealer will allow us to tap into Honeywell’s expertise, technological innovations and support, which helps strengthen our services to our customers.”
The independent security dealer network has more than 500 participating installing security contractors nationwide. The program provides customized support in sales techniques and marketing strategies for intrusion, fire, video surveillance and access control systems in commercial and residential facilities.
