ALEXANDRIA, Va. — ASIS Int’l, a global association for security management professionals, announces the release of its education lineup for Global Security Exchange (GSX) 2019 to be held Sept. 8-12 in Chicago.

The roster includes more than 300 sessions, organized into 17 subject-matter tracks.

“Each year, we work for months to find the best, most informative speakers and subject matter to present to our audience. This year is no exception, and I feel confident that we have designed the best educational program ever for our attendees,” states Kenneth D. Ribler, CPP, chair of the GSX 2019 call for presentations selection committee.

The GSX session lineup is billed as addressing a wide variety of topics vital to today’s security professional, delivered in immersive formats like small group workshops, simulations, deep dives and more.

ASIS Int’l has engaged more than 220 speakers from diverse professional backgrounds to deliver the peer-driven education program. From Department of Homeland Security (DHS) personnel to CSOs and CISOs, the presenters cross the range of industries and responsibilities related to security.

The first announced General Session, Geopolitics and Security, will be delivered by General John Kelly, U.S. Marine Corps (Ret.), to kick-off Military & Law Enforcement Appreciation Day on Sept. 11.

GSX, now in its 65th year, was previously named the ASIS Int’l Seminar & Exhibits. For a complete list of educational sessions, tracks and presenters at this year’s installment, go here.
