ASIS to Support Loss Prevention Study
ALEXANDRIA, Va.
In an arrangement with the National Retail Federation, ASIS Int’l will support the National Retail Security Study, an annual survey of retail theft. The report supplies loss prevention executives with current data and ways to reduce inventory shrinkage.
Under the agreement, ASIS will provide long-term funding, help market and promote the study, and encourage survey response from its members.
ASIS will use its publications, Web site, council and development programs to keep members engaged and aware of the survey.
University of Florida Professor Richard Hollinger conducts the survey with monetary support from General Information Services Inc. and longtime sponsor ADT.
