Brandon Reich, senior director surveillance solutions, said Pivot3 is really focusing now on education security integrators about the technology and opportunities. “We want to really get those integrators up to speed on the IT side of things,” he said. “We want to help them sell infrastructure, keeping that piece of business rather than losing server sales to IT.” He added that part of what makes Pivot3’s Edge Protect unique is it is the only one in the market optimized for write rather than read hard drive functionality. Lastly, he pointed out how the manufacturer is currently targeting the mid-market rather than just large-scale enterprise applications.
