ASSA ABLOY Awarded Vizient Environmentally Preferred Supplier Designation

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — ASSA ABLOY announces it has been designated as an Environmentally Preferred Vizient-awarded Supplier.
Vizient is said to be the largest member-driven healthcare performance improvement company in the country. Helping hospitals and clinics reach their building performance and sustainability goals is a key focus of Vizient’s Environmentally Preferred Sourcing (EPS) program.
Vizient works with hospital members and providers to reduce harmful human and environmental health impacts while maintaining quality and affordability. As part of the Vizient EPS program, participating manufacturers like ASSA ABLOY must provide a list of products that meet pre-defined environmentally preferred standards and specific third-party certifications to indicate independent auditing of environmental standards.
