NEW HAVEN, Conn. — ASSA ABLOY announced on Tuesday the integration of its Aperio wireless lock technology with Keep from Feenics Inc, a security management solutions company.
ASSA ABLOY’s Aperio integration offers Feenics customers the ability to connect additional openings to their existing Keep systems.

Keep is a cloud-based access control platform that can operate as an on premise solution within the end user’s private network, or in a hosted environment, using the same user interface for either application. In a hosted environment, Feenics has engineered Keep to run without servers or appliances on site, according to the company. The UI uses the open field hardware of Mercury and HID, and is fully scalable to meet the need of the end customer.
Aperio is a global wireless platform that allows end users to expand their access control footprint. It uses wireless communication between the lock and an Aperio hub to provide real-time communication to the access control system.
