More than 30 companies were able to see live, hands-on demonstrations of surveillance systems and view their applications at Greater Alarm’s open house event at its technology center and remote video/GPS monitoring facility in Irvine, Calif. The company’s San Diego branch also held a similar event.
Attendees were shuttled through a special vehicle that featured cameras, DVRs and monitors sponsored by Pelco. The event also featured various biometric solution offerings. “At one time, 12 people were crammed into the mobile product showcase for various demonstrations,” says George DeMarco, president of the company.
