AVAD LLC, distributor of custom home electronics, announces the winners of its 2007 ISC West prize drawings, totaling $11,000.
Following are the winners and awarded prizes:
- Chris Mack of Mack Security Systems in Tuscon, Ariz.; Bose Lifestyle Series III speakers and Panamax power conditioner.
- Joe Mesich of Advanced Technical Services in Gallup, N.M.; a Samsung HP-S5053 and Panamax MFP500EX two-outlet power conditioner.
- Don Emch of Emch’s in Phoenix; Polk Audio surround sound system, Panamax power conditioner and Marantz SR6001 7.1 channel receiver.
AVAD conducted the giveaway as part of its “Custom Café” display at the recent conference in Las Vegas, set up to educate home security professionals about the benefits of using AVAD to help them add custom AV and other home integration products to their menu of services provided.
“We wanted to reach out to the security industry because they already have a relationship with the homeowner,” says Bob Gartland, president of AVAD. “We can offer the security installer a way to add value to the relationships, increase the profitability of new installs and give them a way to upsell their existing client base.”
AVAD provides security installers and other residential technology professionals with training, product information and sales support to get started in custom AV, as well as repeatable and scaleable AV packages designed to simplify sales, delivery, installation and service.
