AVAD, a distributor of custom home electronics, has opened a new distribution center in downtown Chicago.
AVAD-Chicago’s warehouse and will-call area features an urban loft feel with 14-foot ceilings, polished concrete floors and brick interior. A wide selection of home electronics is on display, allowing dealers and their customers to view the wide selection of AVAD brands and technologies. Five projectors, multiple plasma and LCD displays are housed in two dedicated home theater areas, with active multizone audio and automation systems also set up for demonstrations.
The new site is also equipped with a state-of-the-art training facility and an additional conference room for dealer and client meetings, consultations and service.
“We’re very excited about the growth outlook for Chicago and the Midwestern United States,” says Bob Gartland, president of AVAD LLC. “This facility is an example of AVAD’s regional expansion plans and investments in both our company’s and our dealer’s future.”
