AVAD LLC, a distributor of custom home electronics, announces it has opened two new distribution centers, one near Richmond, Va., and the other in the Denver area.

The Richmond branch is intended to serve the area’s regional dealer base. The 13,000-square-foot center provides a complete inventory of residential system solutions and video inventory, as well as product training, technical and sales support. A sizable showroom and dedicated theater will be used to house active displays and demonstrations of AVAD’s leading brands and technologies.

“We’re very excited about the growth outlook for the eastern United States,” says Bob Gartland, president of AVAD LLC. “This facility is an example of AVAD’s regional expansion plans and investments in both our company’s and our dealer’s future.”

AVAD has also opened a second distribution center in Denver to serve the area’s southern metro dealer base. This new 31,000-square-foot facility will provide a complete inventory of residential system solutions, as well as comprehensive product training, technical and sales support. A 960-square-foot showroom with two dedicated theaters will serve dealers and their clients with active displays and demonstrations of AVAD’s leading brands and technologies, says Bob Prall, vice president of AVAD Rocky Mountain. “We’ve been looking at adding a second Denver location for a number of years,” Prall says. “We know from our market research that there is great demand – our customers have been asking for us to establish a second distribution center in the area for some time.”
