ORLANDO, Fla.—Axis Communications will showcase its new AXIS C17 Network Display Speaker Series at the commercial AV trade event, InfoComm 2025.
The company asserts these new devices feature multipurpose functionality to help dealers create a smarter, safer world through modern surveillance and communications technologies.
Axis Communications points out the C17 Network Display Speaker Series includes the AXIS C1710 Network Display Speaker and the dual-sided corridor model, the AXIS C1720 Network Display Speaker. The company suggests that dealers can use the products for applications such as public address announcements, as well as urgent messaging.
The products utilize open standards, and the company stresses, the AXIS C17 Network Display Speaker Series integrates with third-party mass notification systems to help ensure effective intelligible communications.
C17 Network Display Speakers Offer a Host of User-Friendly Options
Axis Communications states the new C17 Network Display Speakers feature a customizable digital display, with a variety of lighting colors and text animations available for different scenarios.
In addition, dealers can mix and match the audio, display text, and strobe as needed to enable static text reminders, silent alerts and more depending on the need. The products’ built-in digital signal processing helps the speakers to produce high-quality sound for live announcements, event-triggered alerts, and scheduled messages, as well as bell signals, sirens and background music in a variety of challenging acoustic environments like schools, healthcare facilities and transportation hubs.
The company also points out the C17 Network Display Speakers’ display helps to ensure consistent readability with brightness auto-adjustment and flexible text size and styling. The display speakers also have adjustable PIR sensors to detect movement and trigger an audio alert or message and even turn on and off the display if desired.
Axis Communications adds that integrators will find installation is quick and easy for both speakers. The AXIS C1710 speaker comes with a wall mount, and wall and ceiling mount accessories are available for installing AXIS C1720 in corridors.
