Beldenof Richmond, Minn., announces a new pan/tilt/zoom (p/t/z) banana-peelcomposite cable with coax-based video and 14 AWG power conductors todrive heaters and motors at a greater distance.
The cable includes plenum and riser-rated composites withRG-59/U coax cable for video, STP or UTP cables for control andtwo-conductor cable for power applications. Since the cables arecomposites, they eliminate the need for pulling individual video, powerand control.
In the banana peel design, the individual, color-coded cablesare affixed to a center spline, eliminating the need for an overalljacket. Installers need only to peel off the required cable componentand it’s ready for termination.
