Biometric Access System Has Adjustable ID Level and FAR Rating

Sagem Morpho of Tacoma, Wash., a provider of biometric access control and identification verification systems, announces the MorphoAccess 100 Series, a versatile new line of biometric access control products.

According to the company, the smart card terminals are easy to install inside and outside. They are also compatible with new or legacy systems already employed in the field.

The products use a high-performance optical sensor.  Access requirements can be customized according to different levels of security, from identification only to multiple factors that authenticate individuals requesting access. Dealers can also adjust the unit’s false acceptance rate (FAR).
