Bold Technologies and HID Bring Together Access Control Functions for Control Room
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.
A partnership has been formed by Bold Technologies and HID to provide one point of control for access control and other technologies in a central monitoring facility. With one point of control, training for operators will be reduced and enable the information that is available for an event to be seen on one screen to be responded to more efficiently.
Access control functions of HID’s VertX CS software are embedded into Bold’s Manitou software. Users will be able to log every door entry and when alarms are raised, and respond to any exceptions directly from Manitou. “Manitou was designed to control all the technology in the control room,” says Jerry Winslow, President of Bold Technologies.
