COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Bold Technologies, a provider of alarm monitoring and PSIM software, has contracted a second data center in Los Angeles, Calif. to host its Cloud customer data.

Bold says its hosted Cloud solution, Manitou Cloud Services, has experienced exceptional growth since its inception in 2015, necessitating the addition of a second center. Bold’s current data center resides here.

It is working with CoreSite, who manages multiple data centers across the country and hosts some of the largest corporations in the U.S. within their facilities.

Bold has contracted space in the company’s One Wilshire data center in Los Angeles, considered one of the most secure and network-dense data centers in the world, according to the company.

Bold says One Wilshire will provide Manitou Cloud Services customers with low-latency connectivity and network resiliency with a 100% uptime.

Shaun Blair, Bold’s director of SaaS, says, “One of the biggest advantages to choosing this facility is that it also hosts our telco provider. By being in the same physical location, we are now able to eliminate a point of failure and increase connectivity speed for our Cloud customers.”

Blair is currently finalizing the hardware requirements for the One Wilshire location, and expects it to be
ready for service early in second quarter.
