Bosch Alarm Communication Modules Receive FM Certification
FAIRPORT, N.Y.
Bosch Security Systems Inc. has received the Factory Mutual (FM) approved product certification for the C900V2 Dialer Capture Module, DX4020 Network Interface Module and D6680 Network Adapter when used with Bosch’s Conettix D6600 Communications Receiver/Gateway.
Manufacturers rely on FM product certification to test and approve their products and services, certifying their reliability. The FM certification mark is awarded by FM Approvals, an independent, third-party testing laboratory under the auspices of FM Global Research. The group of scientists and engineers work to advance loss prevention practices and establish new industry standards through state-of-the-art research and testing.
Bosch’s Conettix IP is a complete system for alarm and event data transmission over IP-based networks that the company says will reduce security system costs while providing fast alarm communication for commercial and industrial facilities.
