Bosch has awarded two students each a $2,500 scholarship as part of the National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA) Education Foundation’s mission to reach out to the next generation of integrators. Jess Ashby and Dawn Meade were given the scholarships to receive the training needed to succeed in the commercial electronic systems industry.

In partnership with the NSCA Education Foundation, Bosch Communications Systems offered the scholarships in memory of Robert Bosch, who founded Robert Bosch GmbH, a German technology corporation.

“The NSCA Foundation is grateful for Bosch’s commitment to the future of our industry,” says Tom Frericks, president of the NSCA Education Foundation. “By supporting education, Bosch’s generous scholarships will go a long way to ensure the continued success of the commercial electronic systems industry.”

Ashby is a junior studying theater and working with A/V at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Va., while Meade plans to begin graduate school at the University of Maryland where she will pursue a dual master’s degree in technology management, information systems and business administration (MBA).
