SPARTANSBURG, S.C. – Bosch Security Systems is expected to create more than 50 jobs when it opens its new distribution center here.
The manufacturer will lease a newly constructed, 150,000-square-foot facility to distribute video surveillance, intrusion detection, fire detection, access control and other security solutions to customers in North and South America, GoUpState.com reports.
The center will also be sued to support light assembly for customer-specific projects.
The announcement comes several months after the manufacturer announced that it planned to shut down its Lancaster, Pa.-based distribution center in early 2015.
The firm will start hiring new positions in the fall. Operations are expected to begin in December.
