Brink’s Home Security Announces Move Into Commercial Market

IRVING, Texas

Brink’s Home Security is expanding beyond the residential market into commercial. Brink’s has announced the formation of a new division — Brink’s Business Security – to serve the needs of commercial customers.

Brink’s Director of National Accounts Doug Valenski says the firm will have an advantage over other commercial installers because of its national presence.

“The security industry is highly fragmented, with thousands of companies providing services to commercial customers, but very few have coast-to-coast coverage,” says Valenski. “Companies with multiple locations can nowuse Brink’s as their sole security provider.”

As part of the launch of Brink’s Business Security, a master control panel designed to monitor 96 zones at a time will be utilized. The panel includes back-up radio communications if the phone line becomes unavailable

The new commercial unit will also offer video monitoring accessible to the customer through the Internet, as well as utilization of Brink’s Home Security’s call centers, which have won honors from J.D. Power & Associates three straight years.
