KNOXVILLE, Tenn.
Published: April 17, 2005

Brink’s Home Security Inc. says it plans to build a new
alarm monitoring and customer care facility in Knoxville,
Tenn. The 50,000-square-foot center will complement Brink’s
Home Security’s National Support Center in Irving, Texas.
Brink’s says the Knoxville center will accommodate 400
operators and customer care specialists and will provide
additional capacity and disaster-recovery capabilities for
Brink’s. The 7-days-a-week, 24-hour facility will handle
calls and alarm monitoring throughout the U.S. and
Canada.

Brink’s says the Knoxville center should be operational by
early 2006.
