CAA Summer Convention Is May 15-17 in Palm Springs

MARINA DEL REY, Calif.

A behind-the-scenes look into how the verified
(nonresponse) policy was implemented by the Los Angeles
Police Department will be discussed at the California Alarm
Association’s (CAA) summer convention May 15-17 at the
Hilton Resort in Palm Springs, Calif.

Security Sales & Integration Editor Scott Goldfine will be a featured speaker and will discuss the results of a nationwide survey on law enforcement’s view of the alarm industry and the role of alarms in public safety.

The three-day event will also include information on California’s apprenticeship and training program by the Western Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (WBFAA) and the process companies take to enroll their fire/life-safety technicians. An Industry Incorrrect panel discussion as well as a desert walk on the last day of the convention is also scheduled to take place.
