Cable Handling and Pulling Made Easier Using Heat-Shrink Bags

Published: October 31, 2006

Windy City Wire of Chicago and Coleman Cable of Waukegan, Ill., have joined forces to offer 22-AWG, two- and four-conductor stranded Coleman Cable coils in bags. The cable rolls come in a heat-shrink bag, available in different colors that keeps the product safe and secure during shipment, handling and use on the job.

The cable can be pulled directly through a hole formed in the center of the bag. This assures the wire leaves the bag in a unified, organized manner, which prevents tangling and kinking. This type of wire is most often used by security and home product installation companies.
