Police in the Southern California town of Redlands intend to do all they can to stop the early morning visitations of ghost hunters looking for a ghost named Billy, who allegedly died in the school nurse’s office in 1972. Police hope to stop nightly visitations to Mariposa Elementary School that have resulted in continuous police dispatches by installing pan/tilt/zoom cameras in strategic spots on school property.
The cameras will be installed and partially paid for by a federal grant. This will enable police dispatchers to check up on any nightly visitations that occur on school property.
Although police are not certain that these cameras will catch a ghost in the midst of a 20-year haunting, they are certain that trespassers will be caught.
