Cambridge Protection Industries Inc. announces that it has purchased the stock of National Alarm Computer Center Inc. (NACC), a security monitoring company. NACC operates one of the nation’s largest contract monitoring central stations, serving more than 900 alarm companies and nearly 180,000 individually monitored accounts nationwide. Cambridge is the alarm industry’s 13th-largest operating company and is headquartered near Chicago.

“The founders of NACC and management of Cambridge are excited about the future of both NACC and Cambridge,” says Michael Schubert, president of NACC.
While Cambridge is primarily active in the retail sector of the alarm industry, NACC provides a unique opportunity for Cambridge to participate and apply its significant financial resources in the fast-growing contract monitoring business, according to Schubert.
