MISSISSAUGA, Canada—Camden Door Controls has just announced the launch of its new 1420 Series Low-Profile Fire-Rated Strike (CX-ED1420).
The Ontario-based access control product company says its latest product is designed to provide a cost-effective solution for code compliance in UL fire-rated doors and frames with cylindrical locksets.
Camden Door Controls boasts that its latest product is built to the highest industry standards—the CX-ED1420 strikes are Grade 1 ANSI fire-rated and engineered for ½-inch to 5/8-inch latch projection.
CX-ED1420 Door Strike Designed for Safety and Reliability
According to the company, the new door strikes offer exceptional durability with 1,500-pounds static strength and are factory-tested to operate for as many as 1.5 million cycles. Certified for UL 1034 and 294 security standards, the new CX-ED1420 strikes are also 90-minute fire-rated to UL10C and CAN4-S104 standards to help ensure high levels of reliability and safety.
In addition to their safety capabilities, Camden Door Controls emphasizes the door strikes are designed for versatility. The CX-ED1420 Series features a universal 12/24-volt AC or DC design with field-selectable fail-safe or fail-secure operation.
Moreover, the door strikes are available in a sleek black architectural finish (BHMA622, US19) and backed by Camden’s five-year replacement warranty.
