MISSISSAUGA, Ontario — Camden Door Controls, a provider of door activation and locking products, introduces new additions to their keypad program. New to the lineup are the CM-110SK stand-alone slim-line metal keypad and the CV-110SPK slim-line prox reader and keypad.
CM-110SK is a single door, multifunctional stand-alone keypad, with a Wiegand output for interfacing to an access control system. This unit supports up to 2000 users with a 4-digit PIN. The unit has extra features including lock output current short circuit protection, anti-tamper and a backlit keypad. Housed in a strong, vandal proof zinc alloy electroplated case, Camden Door Controls says it’s suitable for mounting in both indoor and harsh outdoor environments. The electronics are fully potted so the unit is waterproof and conforms to IP68.
The CV-110SPK model offers the same keypad capabilities of the CM-110SK but also provides a prox card reader to allow the device to serve as a dual-credential access control device. The built-in prox card reader supports 125KHZ EM cards and 13.56MHz Mifare cards. The CV-110SPK is said to provide a complete one door access control solution for high traffic indoor or outdoor applications that demand weather and vandal resistant performance over years of operation.
Both keypads may be used to control entry or egress through electrically locked doors or for activating/deactivating overhead doors, automatic doors, elevators, equipment or machinery, and are ideal for professional offices, healthcare, schools, retail stores, commercial and industrial applications.
