Pixim Inc. of Mountain View, Calif., announces an advanced version of its Orca chipset with enhanced image stabilization and continuous auto-focus has been integrated into Dallmeier Components’ new DCM3032SA ultra-wide dynamic range integrated optics package (IOP). The IOP is used in pan/tilt/zoom (p/t/z) surveillance cameras. According to Pixim, these chipsets effectively deliver a wide dynamic range with excellent color rendition and image quality in any lighting situation.
Pixim chipsets use patented digital pixel system technology that converts light into a digital signal directly at the point of capture in the imager. This enables the optimization of exposure associated with each pixel, thus delivering the highest quality image possible. In addition, Pixim’s scan imager with global shutter produces 0-60Hz image stabilization in the Dallmeier’s DCM3032SA.
